Blessed Children Home was founded on a vision. In 2010 we saw a great need in our community. We saw hurting children that had to be removed from their homes due to neglect and abuse. We made it our mission to provide a loving and caring Christian environment to those children in need. We have strived to provide the most basic human needs, love, education and acceptance, to those who God has placed here.
Blessed Children Foundation serves as a loving and nurturing home and education center to displaced children from Western Kenya Slums and surrounding counties. Our staff is dedicated to the care and well-being of each child resident here. We treat each child as an individual and provide as much love, compassion and attention to each individual child as humanly possible.
We have been serving children ages three through 18 since 2010. In that time we have been blessed by the outreach of the community without whose support and partnership we could not continue to provide sanctuary to our children. We receive donations from individuals, businesses and churches throughout the year. We have a total of 400 children under our care and served by 18 staff.
We have been blessed to both nurture and minister to those children placed here and to be part of a loving, giving community which shares our passion to support children. With great excitement we look forward to the future and to the lives who we will be able to touch thanks to the community and to God’s will.
